Accessibility Statement

Marlin Blue is firmly committed to making its website accessible to every user. We continuously strive to enhance the user experience by focusing on improved accessibility and usability.

Compliance status

This website is being optimised to apply the European standard EN 301 549 and it is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA standard.

We adhere to the four foundational principles of web accessibility, known as the ‘POUR’ principles:

  1. Perceivable: Our content is designed to be perceivable to at least one of the user’s senses. For instance, we provide alternative text descriptions for images to aid visually impaired users.
  2. Operable: We ensure our content is operable through various tools, including keyboard-only navigation, catering to users who are unable to use a mouse.
  3. Understandable: Our goal is to use clear, simple language and maintain predictable, consistent interfaces to support users with cognitive or reading disabilities.
  4. Robust: We focus on creating a website and app that function seamlessly across a range of platforms, browsers, and devices, including assistive technologies.

You should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 300% most of the website without problems
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using assistive technology like a screen reader or a magnifier

Despite our efforts to achieve website accessibility, certain content like videos used on some pages may not yet be optimised. We constantly monitor the accessibility of our website and we continue to make improvements to the accessibility features.
